June 10–11, 2026. Warsaw. Copernicus Science Center.
That was the setting for More than Jira ‘26, one of the most respected gatherings in the European Atlassian community, organized by Almarise. Two days of talks, demo sessions, workshops, and genuine hallway conversations, all under one roof with practitioners, partners, and builders who are shaping how teams work inside Jira every day.
AppLiger was there, and we made the most of it.
What we brought to the table
Our co-founder, Pavlo Pavlovsky, took the stage to walk through a real-world case: how Easy Issue Templates for Jira helped a global electronics company restructure its Jira processes from the ground up. No slides full of promises, just a concrete story of what worked, what didn’t, and what teams actually got out of it.
Pavlo’s full talk will be available here as soon as we receive the recording from the organizers. Stay tuned.
What we took home
The conversations around the talks were just as valuable as the talks themselves. AI adoption within Atlassian tools, the real friction points of Forge migration, where the Marketplace is headed, and how users actually interact with apps day-to-day. These aren’t abstract topics for us; they feed directly into how we build and improve our products.
There was also a planetarium screening at the Copernicus Science Center. A 16-meter spherical screen, millions of stars, and a room full of Jira people. Unexpectedly, one of the highlights.
Thank you
Events like this only work because the right people show up and actually talk to each other. We’re grateful for every conversation.
Thanks to Gizem Gökçe and Melisa Ilgar Mutlu for sharing perspectives on cultural traditions and Forge migration challenges. To Erik Turøy Midtun and Steinar Line for the thoughtful exchange about European digital initiatives and what it takes to build apps that genuinely serve the ecosystem. To Iryna Menzheha and Nataliia Kovalchuk for a sharp conversation about the road ahead in the Atlassian space. To Krystian Różycki and Ariana Kaya for the great organization and a candid look at where AI adoption is heading for everyday users. To Dzmitry Hryb for an honest conversation about how Marketplace vendors can communicate their value better, something we think about a lot. And to Xhuljo Mezini for swapping ideas on building useful products inside the ecosystem.
And a big thank you to the entire Almarise team for putting together an event that felt genuinely friendly, well-organized, and worth the trip.
This is not a one-off
Sharing what we know and learning from everyone else in the room is part of how we grow as a product and as a team. More than Jira ‘26 confirmed a real appetite in the community for honest, practical conversations about Jira. We plan to keep showing up.
See you at the next one.
